Terms & Conditions of Service

1. Definitions

  • “We / Us / Our” refers to Osuch25 Courier Services

  • “Customer” refers to the person or business booking the service

  • “Goods” refers to items being transported

  • “Service” refers to collection, transport, and delivery only

2. Scope of Service

We provide a collection and delivery service only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The service does not include:

  • Packing or unpacking

  • Installation, assembly, or dismantling

  • Disposal of items

  • Carrying items beyond reasonable access unless agreed

This is a one-person service unless stated otherwise.

3. Bookings & Payment

  • Bookings can be made via website, phone, WhatsApp, or social media

  • A booking is not confirmed until payment (or deposit, where required) is received

  • Payment is due in advance or upon completion, as agreed

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if payment is not received

Late or unpaid invoices may incur additional charges.

4. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled time

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may be charged in full

  • If the driver arrives and the job cannot proceed, the full charge may apply

  • If no one is present at collection or delivery, the job will be chargeable

5. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for ensuring:

  • Goods are accurately described in size, weight, and quantity

  • Goods are properly packed and protected

  • Safe and legal access is available at both locations

  • Any parking restrictions or permits are arranged

  • Someone is present at collection and delivery

Additional charges may apply if details are incorrect or access is restricted.

6. Prohibited & Restricted Items

We do not carry:

  • Illegal goods or substances

  • Hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials

  • Cash, jewellery, precious metals, or securities

  • Firearms, weapons, or controlled items

  • Perishable or fragile goods unless agreed in advance

We reserve the right to refuse any item.

7. Insurance & Liability

  • Goods are insured under Goods in Transit insurance up to £10,000 (unless otherwise stated)

  • We hold Public Liability insurance up to £2,000,000

Our liability is limited to the value covered by our insurance.

We are not liable for:

  • Poor or inadequate packing

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Normal wear, scratches, or cosmetic marks

  • Delays beyond our control

  • Indirect or consequential losses

8. Delays & Force Majeure

Delivery times are estimates only unless expressly agreed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Traffic conditions

  • Weather

  • Accidents or breakdowns

  • Road closures

  • Events outside our reasonable control

Delays do not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

9. Waiting Time & Additional Charges

  • Reasonable waiting time may be included

  • Excessive waiting time may be chargeable

  • Additional charges may apply for:

    • Stairs or long carry distances

    • Restricted access

    • Incorrect job information

    • Additional items not declared

10. Claims & Complaints

  • Any claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of delivery

  • Evidence may be required (photos, invoices, receipts)

  • We do not offer on-the-spot cash refunds

  • All claims are investigated in line with insurance procedures

11. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service without refund if:

  • Job details were misrepresented

  • Goods are unsafe or illegal

  • Access is unsafe

  • The customer behaves abusively or aggressively

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
